My wolf would only howel when I wasn't home.. This is dedicated to him..<br /><br />Notice how bad my tension is.. I am guilty of struggling with the beginning of all my tapestries.. If you have a suggestion on how to remedy the problem please let me know.. I am considering dividing up the warp in smaller sections to start the heading and hem. I am going to try to be more active here.. My summer has been wonderful.. I took Kathe Todd-Hooker's tapestry class while she was in Albuquerque for Convergence.. It was wonderful meeting and learning from one of my tapestry idols. </span></em></strong><br /><br /><strong><em><span style="color:#006600;"></span></em></strong><br /><br /><strong><em><span style="color:#006600;">So here is my most recent piece that I wove this month.. It is a wedding gift for a friend.. She is native american.. Her totem is a Macaw and her husbands is Coyote.. While I was weaving it coyotes kept coming too close to my home.. I would not have been surprised if a parrot appeared out of no where.. </span></em></strong><br /><br /><strong><em><span style="color:#006600;"></span></em></strong><br /><br /><strong><em><span style="color:#006600;">I used soumack on the tail of the coyote and the beak of the parrot.. And of course eccentric weaving.. The title of the piece is "DREAMING TOGETHER".. </span></em></strong><br /><br /><strong><em><span style="color:#006600;">I planned out the bird and coyote.. The rest of the weaving was done spontaneously allowing the sky to do what it wanted..
